Are you a creative communicator with a passion for social media and the great outdoors? If so, we’d love to welcome you to our Communications team as our new Social Media and Digital Assistant.
From crafting scroll-stopping accessible content to collaborating with creators and building an engaged online community, you’ll bring our brand to life across our social channels and turn big ideas into bold moments online and beyond. You’ll be the voice behind our posts, the eyes on the trends, and play a key role in inspiring the next generation to care for one of the world’s most stunning landscapes.
What’s it like to work here?
Our people of the Park are passionate about the landscape and proud of the work we do to look after it and help people enjoy it. We are innovative and agile in our approach to work, ensuring we get the best from our resources.
We’re a medium-sized organisation, which puts us in a good position to be adaptive and able to act on our decisions. What's more, our staff know each other and can quickly form workplace relationships to make great team players and problem solvers.
This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape the digital presence of the organisation that manages one of the UK’s most iconic landscapes. You’ll be part of a small, supportive, creative team working to connect people with nature, heritage, and community.
We operate a hybrid way of working, combining working from home and days at our office base at Wayfaring House, Kendal. You’ll be provided with a laptop to enable you to access our secure IT network when working remotely.
