We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our team in for our Yamaha contract at our Milton Keynes Site MK7 8BL

The role involves assisting with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and forklift operation, while following company and safety standards.

The role will offer a salary of £30997.79 per annum with the shift of Monday to Friday 10:00-18:00

Main duties and responsibilities will include

- Safely handle products during all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring adherence to company procedures.
- Handle goods correctly to minimise damage and follow manual handling techniques to prevent injury.
- Carry out other reasonable requests to support the effective operation of the warehouse.
- Use manual handling equipment appropriately, as trained, to support operational processes when needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and take appropriate action if procedures are not followed or can be improved.
- Conduct equipment checks according to procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Maintain and update site Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and working instructions.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and customer service.

Key Skills:
- Previous warehouse experience is an advantage
- Experience in using RF scanners is an advantage
- Awareness of manual handling techniques is an advantage
- Counterbalance, VNA, or T20 experience/licence is advantageous but not essential, training can be provided
- Familiarity with OPUS Warehouse Management team is an advantage
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Self-motivated and Flexible
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Deputise for the Team Leader where appropriate
