The Norfolk and Suffolk Broads is Britain's largest protected wetland and third largest inland waterway, with the status of a national park. It is also home to some of the rarest plants and animals in the UK.
We are seeking a committed individual to fill an Assistant Seasonal Ranger role. Working within the Ranger team, the postholder will be responsible for patrolling, dealing with incidents and ensuring the safety of the public as well as carrying out general maintenance on mooring and countryside sites which the team manages.
The successful candidate will have a proven ability to deal with a wide range of people and be able to manage a varied workload to ensure a good level of service is provided for boaters and other visitors to the Broads area. Formal qualifications in boating and conservation management are not essential, however, the candidate should have some experience in these areas, along with a general understanding of the Broads.

A practical skills assessment day will be held on Friday 20 February 2026.
