Job title: Assistant Shop Manager, Orchard Park Shop

Salary: £23,810 full time equivalent. Actual salary of £14,286 per annum.
Hours of work: 22.5 hours per week to be worked 3 out of 7 days on a rota basis, Monday to Sunday (this will include Bank Holidays). Daily hours 08:45-17:15 if working Monday to Saturday, 09:45-16:15 if working Sunday.
As an Assistant Shop Manager, you’ll help create a welcoming environment where customers feel supported, donors feel appreciated, and volunteers feel valued. Working alongside your Shop Manager, you’ll play an active part in ensuring the shop runs smoothly, efficiently and with our hospice values at its heart.
Are you able to support the Shop Manager in the day to day running of a busy, vibrant shop, helping to deliver a positive experience for everyone who walks through the door?
Are you confident providing excellent customer service, building warm and genuine connections with customers, donors and volunteers?
Are you able to help manage stock flow, pricing, merchandising and Gift Aid processes, ensuring donations are used to their full potential and displayed in an attractive, commercially aware way?
Are you confident reviewing sales information, spotting opportunities to increase income and helping to grow footfall through great displays and local engagement?
