The Student Casework Team draws together a range of duties, including student complaints, appeals, applications for consideration of mitigating circumstances, student discipline, and administration related to cases of alleged academic misconduct.

The post holder will work closely with the Student Casework Manager by supporting them with administration relating to claims for mitigating circumstances and dissertation extension requests. The role also includes managing the University’s processes for handling alleged academic misconduct by students.

The Student Casework Assistant will arrange and act as Secretary for small committee meetings throughout the academic year as part of their role. This includes, as a matter of routine, dealing with confidential and sensitive issues and information.

The post holder will need to be proficient in using Microsoft Office 365 and be willing to learn how to use our corporate IT systems (training will be given).

The role holder will also assist the wider Registry Services department during busy key periods such as examination weeks, Welcome Weekend, and the University of Worcester Graduation Ceremonies.

This is a good opportunity for someone to join the Student Casework Team and learn different skills at an expanding local university.
