The role
As a Continuous Improvement Project Coordinator, you will support the delivery of ILG’s Continuous Improvement strategy by reviewing operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and supporting the implementation of change with measurable return on investment. Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Project Lead, CI Champions, operational teams, IT, and commercial stakeholders, you will help deliver productivity improvements, cost reduction initiatives, health and safety enhancements, and solutions design projects across ILG operations. Key responsibilities include:
• Reviewing and analysing operational processes and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Building business cases with clearly defined and measurable ROI.
• Maintaining CI trackers and reporting benefits realised.
• Supporting implementation of approved changes and completing post-implementation audits.
• Reviewing CI-related IT platforms and recommending improvements.
• Supporting solutions design activity, including warehouse layout optimisation and capacity planning.
• Promoting a Kaizen and 5S culture across operational teams.
• Supporting the Yusen Excellence System (Y.E.S) through documentation, reporting, and quality assessments.
What we are looking for
• Proven experience delivering continuous improvement initiatives with measurable business impact.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to influence process adherence.
• Strong operational and technical understanding with proven results in cost, productivity, and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver at pace.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Experience in 3PL, Kaizen, 5S, Lean methodologies, Prince2, or CI software platforms is desirable.
• Experience of conducting quality assessments (desirable)
