ABOUT THE ROLE
An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Advice and Support Business Unit for a Community Safety Business Support Officer to join our Team.

As part of our business support team, you will work within our Community safety Department, providing high quality day to day administration and financial tasks. You will work with other council teams, service managers, elected members and external groups to ensure business unit support provides excellence in day-to-day administration, finance and service development.

ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have been educated to a good standard including 4 GCSE’s 4/5 grade or above (to include Maths and English) and evidence of further study related to the role or have proven experience of working within an administrative function.

You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents.

You will be able to have a flexible approach to working hours as some evenings and weekend work may be required.

A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
