LGV Driver

As an LGV Driver at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles safely and efficiently, ensuring all collections and deliveries are completed in line with legislation and company standards. You will play a key customer-facing role, providing a high level of service while meeting team and operational objectives.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working as part of an operational team.

What will you be doing?
• Operating and driving LGV vehicles safely and efficiently in line with legislation and company procedures
• Ensuring compliance with EU and Domestic tachograph regulations and the Working Time Directive
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring vehicles are roadworthy before use
• Ensuring loads are safe, secure and legally compliant at all times
• Reporting any vehicle defects, damage, incidents or near misses to management promptly
• Completing and correctly using all paperwork associated with loads carried
• Keeping vehicles clean and in good working order
• Communicating any customer issues or complaints to the line manager
• Driving at all times in a safe and courteous manner, complying with road traffic legislation
• Following all health, safety, environmental and quality (SHEQ) requirements

What are we looking for?
• LGV Class 2 licence (essential)
• Previous LGV driving experience is desirable
• Strong understanding of health and safety in the workplace
• Reliable, responsible and safety-conscious approach to work
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions accurately
• Willingness to complete all required training and competency modules
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with customers
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands
