About us
We’re an award-winning, market-leading 3PL specialising in high-quality order fulfilment and delivery services. ILG customers are premium brands, many in the beauty, fashion and wellbeing sectors. Our mission is to help them succeed. ILG is a people business - we invest in training and development, recognising and rewarding our people’s achievements and creating opportunities for them to progress within our business. So, if you want to develop an exciting career, learn from a friendly team and realise your full potential in a fast-growing company, this is the role for you.
The role
As a Product Analyst - Customer Experience, you will operate at the intersection of product and engineering, taking ownership of customer-facing features from concept through to delivery. This is a hands-on role where you won’t just define requirements—you will build, prototype, and iterate solutions to shape the future of our platform.
Location: Hybrid (UK) - able to work from Southampton, Northampton, or Warrington on a weekly basis, with frequent travel to other sites.
Working closely with engineering, product, and design teams, you will translate complex customer and business needs into scalable, intuitive solutions. You will play a key role in simplifying fragmented journeys, improving usability, and accelerating delivery through rapid prototyping and iteration. Key responsibilities include:
• Owning and managing a prioritised product backlog, aligned to CX and platform strategy.
• Running agile ceremonies and working closely with engineers to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Translating product vision into detailed epics, user stories, and technical acceptance criteria.
• Building and iterating on working prototypes and front-end solutions to validate ideas quickly.
• Designing and improving end-to-end customer journeys, focusing on usability, performance, and scalability.
• Identifying and reducing complexity across systems, workflows, and customer touchpoints.
• Collaborating with technical teams to ensure solutions are feasible, scalable, and aligned to architecture.
• Using data, user feedback, and testing to continuously refine and improve the customer experience.
What we are looking for
• Experience in a product, technical business analysis, or product engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with prototyping or front-end development (e.g. building working demos, not just wireframes).
• Solid understanding of agile delivery, backlog management, and working closely with engineering teams.
• Ability to write clear, detailed requirements that translate effectively into technical delivery.
• Experience using tools such as Figma, v0, or AI-assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code) is desirable.
• Strong systems thinking with the ability to simplify complex processes and architectures.
• Experience improving customer journeys through data, testing, and iteration.
• Exposure to logistics, eCommerce, or platform-based products is desirable.
Benefits
• Discretionary company bonus scheme
• Pension, Life Assurance, Healthshield Cash Plan and Discount Perks
• Free on-site parking, with electric car charging at certain locations
• Range of employee awards
• Regular social events
• Employee assistance programme to promote mental health wellbeing
• Cycle to work scheme
• Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
