About the role

We are looking for 2 highly motivated, values-led individuals who have experience in managing multiple teams/houses to join the Lambeth team.

As the Locality Manager, you will be instrumental in influencing and informing our future management and leadership approach, working collaboratively with the Operations & Community Manager to deliver projects of positive change and future planning for the services within your locality.

Duties will include:

- Ensure your team/s support the individual(s) to keep safe and healthy in line with their Person-Centred Plan, Health Action Plan, and any other health criteria.
- Coordinate the management of support through the referral, assessment, and review stages of person-centred planning, ensuring people have maximum choice and control.
- Provide effective and inspirational leadership and direction, working in a consistent and positive way with Managers and other team members to ensure people always receive a great service from the whole team.
- Provide a high level of senior visibility in the services and teams across your portfolio, role modelling Certitude’s Values & Behaviours and developing a positive working environment which nurtures and rewards good practice, ensuring staff feel valued and recognised for the important work they do.
- Monitor the effectiveness of subject matter expertise within your portfolio. Working with the Operations & Community Manager, ensure subject matter expertise is developed and shared across the Locality, based on the bespoke and specialist needs of the people we support.

About you

To be a Locality Manager, the following are essential:

- Experience of managing contracts, budgets and income streams.
- Leading services that deliver high-quality support and great person-centred practice outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of Care Standards and Care Act 2014, safeguarding, DOLS/MCA and regulatory frameworks.
- Astute financial and resource management skills: able to manage a budget, able to see where costs need to be controlled and expenditure is required.
- Ability to analyse and evaluate data and different courses of action to inform effective decision making in line with our values.
