Seasonal Activity Leader
Grade 2 (SCP 4 - 7)
Salary £13.05 - £13.69 per hour / £25,185 - £26,403 pro rata
Five days per week / 25 hours
An exciting new opportunity exits to join the team at Carew Castle and Tidal Mill as a Seasonal Activity Leader, delivering a programme of costumed activities for families during school holidays.
Carew Castle and Tidal is an award-winning heritage attraction welcoming around 55,000 visitors annually. The site was awarded Best Visitor Attraction at the 2024/2025 Visit Pembrokeshire Croeso Awards and the South West Wales Tourism Awards.
In this role you will lead the Castle’s costumed summer activities programme on a daily basis including Have-A-Go Archery and Knight School.
Ensuring sessions are fun, high energy and engaging for children and families is key. You will take on a character to entertain and educate children, leading Knight School with gusto!
You will oversee the Have-a-Go Archery range, adhering to strict health and safety guidelines. This includes setting up and checking all equipment daily, as well as taking responsibility for money handling and record keeping.
You will be a friendly and welcoming person with previous experience of working with children. An organised, quick learner with great customer service skills.
Full training will be given.
DBS check required.
