About the Role



As a Bone Densitometry (DEXA) Reporter, you will:

• Provide expert image interpretation and formal DEXA reports, including treatment recommendations.

• Deliver a high-quality reporting service aligned with IR(ME)R17 and radiation protection standards.

• Work closely with referring clinicians, radiographers, and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

• Support the continuous improvement of clinical standards and patient experience across MIP sites.

• Contribute to education, training, and professional development within the imaging team.



About You



You will be a registered healthcare professional (HCPC or equivalent) with:

• A BSc (Hons) in a healthcare or imaging-related field.

• MSc or equivalent postgraduate training in Bone Densitometry Reporting.

• Proven experience interpreting DEXA scans and providing evidence-based treatment recommendations.

• Strong knowledge of osteoporosis management guidelines and radiation safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a commitment to improving patient care.

• Experience with PACS systems and clinical audit participation.
