Due to continued growth and increased demand, we’re looking for a Head of Hardware Operations to join our Operations team. About the role:
This is a senior leadership opportunity to take ownership of the full hardware operations value chain at EA Technology. You will lead supply chain, manufacturing, provisioning, logistics, spares and returns, ensuring delivery is safe, high-quality, predictable and commercially disciplined.

You will define and implement the operating model, governance and performance framework required to support both current delivery and future growth, while working closely with Engineering, Product and Commercial teams to align operational capability with business needs.

• Lead the full hardware operations value chain, including supply chain, provisioning, manufacturing, logistics, spares and returns
• Define and implement the hardware operating model and governance to deliver high-quality, on-time fulfilment at target cost
• Own supplier and manufacturing performance, ensuring capacity, quality, lead times and compliance are effectively managed
• Ensure robust provisioning, traceability and product identity controls are in place prior to customer delivery
• Lead logistics, warehousing, inventory and spares strategies to support deployments and ongoing service commitments
• Drive continuous improvement in production yield, material efficiency, repair turnaround times and fulfilment performance
• Partner with Engineering on new product introduction (NPI), product changes, test strategy and design-for-manufacture/serviceability
• Manage operational risk across supply chain, obsolescence, quality, inventory and safety within production environments
• Establish clear KPIs and performance review cadence across all hardware operations functions
• Build and develop a high-performing hardware operations team, ensuring clear accountability across internal teams and external partners

What we’ll need from you:
• Proven leadership experience, with the ability to set direction, manage performance and develop organisational capability
• Strong stakeholder management skills across Commercial, Product/Engineering and Operations functions
• Ability to plan capacity and deliver predictable outcomes using KPIs and structured operating cadence
• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, cost control and margin optimisation
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex operational challenges for decision-making
• Solid understanding of manufacturing, provisioning, supply chain and/or service logistics principles

Desirable:
• Experience operating within global or partner-led delivery models
• Experience leading organisational change, including operating model, process or systems transformation
• Experience within regulated, safety-critical or infrastructure-based industries
