Due to continued growth and increased demand, we’re looking for a Platform DevOps Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team. This role is hybrid, based in the UK with 3 days per week in the office.

About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to support the development and operation of EA Technology’s operational technology (OT) digital platform. You will help build and maintain the cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines and platform services that underpin our SaaS and analytics solutions, ensuring reliable, secure and scalable production environments.

Working as part of our Platform Engineering team, you will contribute to automation, operational excellence and continuous improvement while collaborating closely with software engineers, architects and product teams.

• Implement and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform services supporting EA Technology’s SaaS and PaaS solutions
• Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code configurations and deployment automation
• Support CI/CD pipelines and platform environments used by development teams
• Contribute to the development of automated deployment pipelines, platform automation and security improvements
• Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues and support the resolution of operational incidents
• Help improve platform automation, tooling and engineering processes to increase efficiency and reliability
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to support software deployment and operational excellence
• Ensure platform solutions are delivered in line with engineering standards and best practices
• Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance platform reliability, scalability and performance

What we'll need from you:
• Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, DevOps or platform engineering environments
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or equivalent
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools and automated deployment practices
• Familiarity with containerisation technologies or application hosting environments
• Experience using monitoring and logging tools within cloud environments
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Practical understanding of automation and infrastructure management
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline

Desirable:
• Experience supporting IoT or Operational Technology (OT) platforms
• Experience working with SaaS platforms or data-driven applications
• Familiarity with EA Technology's OT platform architecture or similar environments
• Experience implementing automation or AI-enabled operational tooling
