Do you have a strong understanding and experience of digital communications and content development? Can you support and mentor colleagues in the development of these skills? Are you experienced in Public Relations?

We are the Institution of Structural Engineers. The world’s largest membership body dedicated to the art and science of structural engineering.

The Role

We are searching for a Content and Communications Manager who will play a pivotal role in our ongoing digital transformation. You will be the guardian of our brand and website; making sure all content is on-brand and performing well. In addition to creating and coordinating content, you will manage and develop our social media strategy and manage the Institution’s press and public relations activity.

Part of this role will include managing the Digital Editors group, formed from colleagues in different teams across the organisation. In addition to managing their training programme you will support and advise the Digital Editors in the development of content and use of the CMS (Kentico).

To be shortlisted for this post, you must:

- Be educated to degree level or equivalent
- Understand digital communications and content development for digital channels, including writing for the web and SEO
- Competent use of Adobe CC, including Illustrator and Photoshop or equivalent
- Have experience supporting content strategy, leading on editorial and content planning
- Have experience of media liaison
