Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Operations Engineer to join their team in Surrey.

The Position

Job Title: Apprentice Operations Engineer
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 information Communications Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months approx
Location: Travel within Surrey, West Sussex and some surround areas where our customers are located as our network grows
Working Hours Monday to Friday 9am till 5.30pm
Salary: £12,000 - £14000
Holiday: 25 days excluding bank holidays
Employment bonus schemes 10% Annual


Role and Responsibilities:

• Working as part of the Engineering and Operations team you will be providing support for the process of getting our Broadband, Voice and TV customers live on our network
• Installation of domestic routers, VOIP Systems, Wi-Fi solutions.
• Provide First Class Technical Support both remotely, on the Helpdesk and in person on the Clients Site with a strong focus on client satisfaction.
• Troubleshooting customer problems including Wi-Fi coverage and broadband speed complaints
• Assisting with fault trouble shooting
• Visiting customers with faults to solve connectivity problems
• Learning on the job about all the systems and networks deployed by Box Broadband, a Next Generation Telecoms company.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

• Essential: Full UK Driving licence
