Contract: 12 month fixed term contract / Part-time: 22.5 hours
Salary £35,000 - £40,000 per annum pro rata

This is a unique opportunity - a newly-created role - putting equality, diversity and inclusion at the very heart of everything that the hospice does.

North London Hospice exists to enable the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone. We work together with our diverse community to provide palliative care and support, when and where it’s needed most. We provide tailored, personalised care for more than 3,000 people a year who are living with a life-limiting illness in Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. We also support their families, friends, and carers.

You’ll be passionate about equality and diversity and have the ability to ensure that our equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) strategy is given the leadership that it deserves. You’ll work with key stakeholders to turn the plan into a reality and improve every facet of the way that the hospice does equality and diversity.

You’ll develop reporting mechanisms and analyse data to underpin the EDI plan, working with key stakeholders including clinical teams. The post-holder is expected to deliver training to staff to ensure they understand the importance of recording data to support the EDI strategy. The role will also organise and run community events and stakeholder workshops to reach out to under-represented groups in the community.

The post holder will be based at the NLH Finchley site with an element of home working and flexibility.
