The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is an employment-focused university, dedicated to ensuring students from diverse backgrounds develop the academic knowledge and practical skills to thrive.

We are now looking to recruit a number of Library Attendants to work at our Swansea, Carmarthen and Lampeter campuses. These are part-time roles, working at least four hours per week for a fixed-term period until the 30th June 2022.

You will be expected to work on a changing rota system, working across the service, and be flexible in relation to working hours. Additionally, you will be required to cover library staff absences and travel to other campuses as necessary.

- ABOUT YOU -

To be considered as a Library Attendant, you will need:

- A very good standard of general education, to at least GCSE level in English and Mathematics, or equivalent

- Experience of providing enquiry support services using different channels, such as phone and email
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic numeracy skills in order to work with Library classification systems and record routine statistics
- IT Literacy, using Microsoft Office applications, email and the internet
