The Role

As an Engineer, you will support the co-ordination of development infrastructure, as well as layout and utilities for our range of properties.

As well as managing the activities and performance of external consultants, you will provide ongoing support to our commercial and build team during the construction phase and provide post-construction assistance with road and sewer adoptions.

In addition, you will provide technical input during the entire pre-development process including land, planning and technical stages. Working with our solicitors, local authorities and statutory undertakers, you will ensure we obtain completed legal agreements in relation to roads, sewers and utilities, which will enable timely site commencement.

About You

To join us as an Engineer, you will need:

- Experience in the management of consultants undertaking infrastructure design, including roads drainage and utilities, and geotechnical investigation
- Knowledge of economic build methods and efficient design techniques
- An understanding of the commercial process
- A full, valid driving licence

Experience in the remediation of brownfield sites would be advantageous to your application, as would appropriate knowledge of the planning process. The management of external works and structural design would be equally desirable.

Please note, all candidates must be prepared to travel to visit various sites throughout the South West as required.
