Assistant Customer Service Manager

Salary - £26,000 per annum Plus Pension, BUPA Medical Cash Plan, Life Assurance, 20 Days’ Holiday (rising with service)

Olleco is on a mission to help protect the planet, working together with thousands of foodservice businesses to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by hundreds and thousands of tonnes. We are now looking for an Assistant Customer Service Manager to join our team and help us to continue to do things the right way for customers, colleagues and the planet.

With over 1,000 colleagues in multiple sites nationwide delivering excellence performance, we supply premium cooking oils, and collect organic waste, which is then converted into bio-methane, electricity, heat and organic fertiliser. We offer the human touch with a local, community-based depots which seek to give back to those communities every chance we get.

This is the role that’s on offer for the right person:

- Advocating for independent sector customers and to promote a customer first culture
- Ensuring our customers are at the centre of everything we do
- Delivering on customer service and communication objectives
- A core focus on regular reporting and data analysis with a high level of attention to detail
- Supporting the Customer First Manager with management of the Independent Sales Team

A little bit more about the role:

- Ensuring that the sales team perform all duties in a safe manner
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the business
- Assisting with the delivery of sales and customer service training
- Interpreting business data and establishing appropriate actions
- Supporting the ‘Customer First’ attitude across all communication channels
- Championing a ‘one time resolution’ for all internal and external customers
- Reporting, track and analyse root causes of customer complaints
- Working with colleagues to ensure effective issue resolution and management
- Identifying and action training gaps
- Supporting the drive for improved customer loyalty
- Supporting CSA teams with the maintenance of order volumes
- Providing admin support as required, including projects, payroll and reporting

We will be looking for:

- Experience in customer experience management
- Experience managing a sales or customer service team
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- A high level of confidence and attention to detail when dealing with data and reporting
- Demonstrable experience of working well under pressure
- The ability to manage changing and conflicting priorities effectively
- Good communication skills
- Strong negotiating skills and experience
- The ability to understand and follow processes

- The ability to use computer systems
