The Position
Job Title: Apprentice Helpdesk Technician
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician - IT Support
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months
Location: HP13 High Wycombe
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9 to 5.30
Salary: £14,000


Role and Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Helpdesk Support Technician, the candidate will be expected to take ownership of cases while providing first class service in an extensive range of technologies and systems. This is a dynamic and challenging position working in a busy role with a skilled and friendly team, where you will be well looked after and encouraged to learn, grow and progress.
During your training you will learn the skills to become a first-class engineering which will include:
Answering incoming support requests
Develop your customer service skills
Log and progress tickets in their Helpdesk software
Troubleshoot users' issues
Setup of Desktops and Laptops
Running critical updates, patches and removing any malicious applications
Carry out proactive checks on their clients' networks
Office 365 Administration
