We are looking for an Internal Communications Manager to be based in Annesley (working remotely up to 4 days per week).

As we work towards our Transform 2025 objectives, we want to improve how we keep our employees across all functions and levels informed, involved and confident about our future. In this role you'll be a member of the HR Team, responsible for internal communications across the Yusen business. You will provide a first-class internal communications service, always looking for new innovative ways to reach out to your audience with colleague experience mind-set and keeping up to date with industry trends.

Key responsibilities:
1. Business partner
a. Partnering with the business to implement a channels and content plan that balances digital and traditional mechanisms to tell our story loudly and proudly and create deep support for our business goals.
b. Manage stakeholder groups through change projects.
2. Subject matter expert
a. Advise on and develop key communication themes and messaging, overseeing the development and delivery of internal communication campaigns and projects.
b. Managing the internal comms calendar.
c. Review and edit function-specific documents drafted by subject matter experts to ensure they are written appropriately for the targeted audience and comply with Yusen brand guidelines.
3. Collaboration
a. Work in partnership with Marketing to ensure our internal messages are managed and joined up with our external communications, so we can bring our customers on the journey with us.
b. Managing the internal comms calendar.
4. Compliance
a. Ensure that Yusen brand values and visual identity are incorporated into the communication deliverables and that our communications represent our desired culture and behaviours.
b. Develop and distribute print based and digital communications.
5. Continuous Improvement
a. Draw on feedback mechanisms to continually measure the effectiveness and impact of our internal communications activity.

Key requirements:
• Extensive and proven experience of internal comms in a customer-focused, operational, multi-site business; with a strong track record of delivery in a unionised environment.
• Demonstrable experience of planning and running communications campaigns across both white- and blue-collar population, including establishing KPIs and measuring clear ROI
• Experience of developing reward or D&I communications will be a bonus.
• In depth and up to date knowledge and understanding of best-practice internal comms tools and techniques
• Creative, solution-oriented and a natural collaborator with a confident and proactive style.
• Having a passion for writing and engaging an audience.
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent stakeholder influencing skills
• Driving licence (occassional travel to Yusen sites will be required)
