We are looking for a Senior EDI Analyst to be based at our site in GP2 (NN4 5FB). The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for leading the design, development, documentation and support of custom Integration solutions, and for constructing general software solutions both individually and as part of a team. This expert level position must possess advanced, comprehensive, and technical knowledge of Mulesoft therefore, the successful candidate should have proven Mulesoft experience which should reflect on their application/CV and interview.

The role will offer a salary range of £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) with the opportunity to work from home 4 days per week (Subject to Business Requirements).

Key responsibilities

Overseeing the administration, monitoring and support of Yusen’s EDI applications
Ensuring a professional and effective service with customers and vendors to rectify service incidents
Manage priorities according to agreed SLA’s, escalating any potential or realised delays at the earliest opportunity
Troubleshooting integrations to determine and fix root cause
Lead teams of developers by determining which tools, APIs, design patterns and best practices to use
Accurately evaluate customer EDI requests for data mapping, transformation, and applicable business logic
Apply knowledge of alternative EDI standards to create the optimal solution
Overseeing the Mapping, configuration, and testing of B2B communications using incumbent tools and applications
Own the B2B integration from design through to implementation and support.
Create test plans and agree go live criteria
Provide appropriate levels of documentation to share the knowledge of the integrations and workflows you have designed and managed
All HR Policies and procedures are strictly adhered to. Recruitment and selection and training and development of YLUK employees to proactively lead the site team by example
Ensure all Company procedures, including absence, performance, etc are managed and adhered to
Identify and recommend subordinate training requirements. Train and develop Managers to maximise their potential and identify ‘future leaders’

Key Requirements

Degree in Computer Science or related field, or the relevant hands-on experience
Mulesoft Certified Developer Level 2
Proven hands-on experience with data integration, API integration code development and complex integration projects, using Mulesoft Anypoint Platform
Design and implementation experience with one or more of the integration technologies (must have Mulesoft Anypoint experience)
Experience of leading a small team.
Strong ERP experience with expertise in Integration and EDI operations.
Experience with utilising EDI standards such as Sap iDocs, EDIFACT, flat file.
Skilled in the production of scope and functional specification documents.
Experience of creating and executing test scripts.
Experience with information security from a systems development perspective (OWASP, encryption, etc.).
Experience with C#, Java, Powershell, AWS, or Azure cloud environments, Windows environments, Git, and relevant IDE’s (Visual Studio, Code, etc.) is strongly preferred.
An in-depth understanding of https based communications and modern API design, protocols and technologies.
Knowledge of standard connection protocols including AS2, FTP, SFTP, FTPS
Knowledge of web security principals and mitigation for common vulnerabilities.
SQL knowledge a benefit
At ease working under pressure to cost and time deadlines
iSeries (as400) knowledge a benefit, but not essential.
