About Us

Yennadon Stone is a traditional company located in the beautiful southwestern confines of Dartmoor National Park. For over 100 years, we have produced rustic stone and slate from our quarry near Yelverton. Our high-quality products are used in gardens, new builds, extensions and walls around Devon and Cornwall.

We have been fortunate in that our business has not been impacted by the pandemic and we have continued to maintain a busy workload and grow as a company.

Due to this continued expansion, we’re now looking for a number of Quarry Operatives to join our team in Dousland.

Your Role

As a Quarry Operative, you’ll support the smooth running of our site in Dousland.

This role will involve lifting and carrying heavy items. A strong work ethic and the ability to work well as part of a team is key.

About You

While no experience is required, to join us as a Quarry Operative, you’ll need:

- Good communication skills
- A positive attitude
- The ability to work well as part of a team

The successful candidates must also be able to travel to our site, based in Dousland.

Previous labouring or quarry experience would be beneficial to your application, however, full training is available.
