The company operates in a niche space offering on-line journal, publishing and science based research information. Whilst they don’t expect applicants to know the niche publication world, a demonstrable understanding of the commercial strategies needed to leverage revenue growth in online communities will be expected along with the executional and operational capabilities and KPIs to monitor and drive the business.

The Benefits

- A salary of up to £150,000 plus bonus

The Role

As the CEO, you will have responsibility for the company’s commercial success, growing revenue and margin through product and market development.

You will also provide support and leadership to teams across the business, drive sales and optimise operations by ensuring cost effectiveness and ROI.

Additionally, you will:

- Work with the Accounts Team to ensure flow of income and on-time payment of creditors
- Track financial performance
- Ensure strong cash flow and minimal debtors
- Report periodically to the Board

About You

To be considered as the CEO, you will need:

- Superb people management and leadership skills
- A background in the online service or online product space
- A track record of nurturing and developing high performing inclusive cultures
- A strong executional capability developed in the SME space
- Excellent operational and executive qualities
- Intimate knowledge of all financial levers at product level
- To live within a commutable distance to North London
