We are currently looking for a HR Advisor to join our team in Sheffield on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional to develop their career in a standalone role. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for providing HR support to the management team and employees.

The work you do within our HR department will be imperative to supporting employee development and allowing our staff to be the best they can be.

The Role

In this key role, you will provide expert professional advice and support to managers and staff on all aspects of people management, current employment legislation and best practice.

You will also support in recruitment and retention, training and development, data and reporting as well as performance management.

Additionally, you will:

- Manage investigations, disciplinary and grievance issues
- Update and review HR policies, procedures and the Employee Handbook
- Deliver induction training to all new starters
- Oversee the appraisal process

About You

We are looking for a personable and approachable individual with strong communication and relationship building capabilities across all levels of the business. In addition, you will need:

- Broad HR experience, ideally gained within an engineering and/or manufacturing environment
- Experience of developing and delivering internal training sessions
- Experience of using HRIS
- Strong working knowledge and understanding of employment legislation
- Knowledge of HR policies and processes
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in IT
- At a minimum, a Level 5 CIPD qualification

Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures would be beneficial to your application, as would experience in a stand-alone HR role.

We are offering this role with the option of flexible working hours as well as part-time hours.
