We are now looking for a Project Coordinator Global Humanity for Peace Institute to join our Carmarthen, Lampeter or Swansea campus on a full time, fixed term basis for 24 months working 37 hours per week.

THE ROLE
You will assist the Director in managing appropriate operational and administrative procedures, within the GHfP so that the Institutes activities, including its programmes of study on the Collective Healing initiative, are suitably coordinated, operate within budgetary limits, and quality assured.

ABOUT YOU
To be considered as a Project Coordinator Global Humanity for Peace Institute , you will need:
- A good honours degree and / or equivalent relevant professional experience
- Masters in a relevant field
- Ability to produce high quality, detailed reports
- Effective, clear and positive communication skills
- Knowledge of HEI sector and in particular working with academic research, administration and programmes of study.
- Knowledge and appreciation of relevant values and principles in working with communities in the global south, with a knowledge of the transatlantic and colonial histories
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently
- Ability to deliver and maintain high standards of customer care
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Ability to manage, maintain and organise datasets and records of project data
- Experience of setting up and coordinating medium to large scale projects
- Experience of leading successful collaborative initiatives
- Personal and professional resilience when dealing with tight deadlines and competing demands
- A high standard of IT skills and experience of using a variety of packages
- Good language skills in French or Spanish
It would also be beneficial if you have:
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience of working within a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh - oral and written
