The Role

A Trust Management Accountant is required to develop and enhance the management reporting function including preparation of the monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements, leading on financial planning and integrating new schools into the Trust. The management accountant will need to implement and maintain effective budgetary control systems to ensure all schools deliver their respective financial targets.

The role will provide support to the Group Head of Management Accounts & Business Planning and the Group Director of Finance in delivering financial services to the Group stakeholders.

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be expected to be a qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and have relevant finance experience. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to have excellent interpersonal, communication and numeracy skills as well as strong MS Excel skills. Have an attention to detail, be analytically minded and self-motivated to achieve tight deadlines. Have the initiative to carry out analysis and provide sound solutions.
