We are currently looking for an Architectural Technician / Technologist to join us in Cleckheaton on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As an Architectural Technician / Technologist, you will assist our Development Department to produce a range of technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Utilising your technical skills, you will create site layouts and construction details for use by our Site Construction Teams and during planning and building application stages.

Working to a high standard, you will factor in budgetary and time requirements of your designs, ensuring they meet our operational programme and needs.

Additionally, you will

- Organise your workload
- Support the production of all technical information for new housing developments
- Make sure that building regulations are adhered to
- Appraise external design contractors of any updates or design changes

About You

To be considered as an Architectural Technician / Technologist, you will need:

- A minimum of two years’ post HNC, HND, BTech or equivalent qualification experience in the architecture field
- Proficiency in the production of CAD information
- A good level of IT literacy, especially in the use of Microsoft Office software
- A full, valid driving licence

Ideally, you will have experience of working in residential building with a developer or architects practice. A full, valid driving licence would also be beneficial.

Other organisations may call this role CAD Technician, Design Engineer, Design Technician, Architectural Assistant, or Development Technician.
