We are currently looking for an ICorr Manager to join our brilliant team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As an ICorr Manager, you will manage and co-ordinate the logistics and effective delivery of our Institute of Corrosion (ICorr) training operations at our training facilities in Sheffield and Dunfermline.

Managing the preparation and delivery of learning and course materials, you will allocate consultant trainers and ensure all required equipment for scheduled courses and programmes is provided.

Where appropriate you will invigilate and mark examinations, ensuring grades are awarded in line with the awarding body standards. You will also act as an international advocate for our organisation, assisting the General Manager with sourcing and onboarding new international partners and with managing the relationship with the Institute of Corrosion.

Additionally, you will:

- Source and assist in the induction of new trainers
- Liaise with IAR Training Manager to set the yearly planner for all on and offsite training
- Manage training equipment, calibrations, examination samples and budgets
- Ensure our courses are up to date and meet customer needs

About You

To be considered as the ICorr Manager, you will need:

- As a minimum, an ICorr Level 2 Protective Coating Inspector qualification (SSPC, NACE, AMPP, BGAS or FROSIO level 2 qualifications will also be considered)
- To be willing to train and upgrade to ICorr Level 3 if not already held
- Experience of working in a team in a collegiate way
- Demonstrable organisational and time management skills
- The ability to assist with the production of coursework materials
- The creative skills to plan and deliver lessons
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to engage students and build professional relationships with training partners and the Institute of Corrosion
- Excellent written skills
- A high degree of problem-solving techniques and flexibility in training delivery
- To be proficient in Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel and Outlook
- A valid passport and the ability to travel internationally
- A full, valid driving licence with a maximum of 6 points

Ideally, you will be qualified in all ICorr methods that you are required to teach.

This role requires a DBS check.
