Your Role

As Director of the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre (UUEPC), you will provide outstanding leadership as the Centre implements a new strategic direction.

Working with all sponsors and stakeholders, you will implement the new vision for the future direction of the Centre whilst maintaining and enhancing its reputation and that of the university’s more generally.

In this varied role, you will oversee operational delivery, staff leadership, sponsor management, external engagement and university engagement and teaching and will ensure all Centre objectives are achieved.

About You

To be considered as Director of the Ulster University Economic Policy Centre, you will need:

- Substantial experience of providing leadership to an economic research team and reporting on performance
- Experience of holding responsibility for the operations of a Centre or Group
- Experience of securing external research or project funding
- Substantial experience of developing and managing sponsor client relationships
- Strong experience of delivering policy-oriented economic research with a focus on quantitative analysis
- Extensive experience of presenting research or analysis at board or ministerial level
- A record of high-quality, high-impact economic policy publication
- To hold an upper second-class honours degree or higher in Economics or a quantitative research method related subject
