This is an exciting opportunity to join our busy Regional Support Team in the South East Region as it grows due to increasing demand to those we support. We are currently a team of 3 providing vital support to our operational volunteers, lifeguards and staff from Swanage to Southend-on-Sea, including the Thames. Our team is currently working from home with occasional travel to Poole, this means that you will need to be self-motivated and be able to work from home (IT equipment is provided) or be able to work from an RNLI asset within the South East region (Swanage to Southend-on-Sea).

You’ll be proactive in your approach, able to juggle conflicting priorities and feel comfortable working in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining attention to detail.

We are looking for someone with strong customer service and communication skills, able to build rapport with volunteers and staff, with a good telephone manner.

As a Regional Lifesaving Support Co-ordinator, you will:

- Act as a regional point of contact for lifesaving volunteers and staff providing support and guidance.
- Liaise with stations and lifeguards to order stores, equipment and PPE
- Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders to raise orders and process invoices
- Co-ordination of crew cover & payments to help maintain operational service
- Co-ordinate travel, accommodation and maintain regional data using MS Excel
- Support in the planning and co-ordination of regional conferences, meetings and events
- Ideally have knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and Microsoft AX, although full training can be given
