The Position
Job Title: Sales Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 IT Technical Sales
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 Months
Location: Home Based (remote) Hampshire
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm or 9am-5:30pm
Salary: £18,000


Role and Responsibilities

This role isn’t your typical ‘Sales’ job, with a lot of elements that make up your day to day working pattern, giving rise to a breadth of skills you will be able to nurture and cultivate during your time with them. As part of being an Apprentice, they will give you exposure to a wide range of sales tasks and functions, not only in customer interaction, but also the wider elements that make up an Account Manager. These will incorporate customer service, clerical tasks, system use and creation, problem solving, project work amongst many other varied tasks to ensure your day-to-day role is diverse and engaging. Whilst this role is home based, you may be expected to travel occasionally to office locations and to attend team days.

Maximise growth of Existing Partners, through upselling and cross selling products from our portfolio of services into your designated accounts
Achieving of an annual revenue sales target and achieve KPI’s managed through our CRM Dynamics365
Defend existing revenues by utilising the virtual sales team
Ensure your Partners are contacted frequently
Deal with any inbound enquiries from their inbound calls and website
Work closely with their wider virtual sales team to help maximise growth across your customer base, by identifying opportunities within your accounts, and then work with their virtual sales team to support the closing and delivery of sales
Maintain up to date records on their CRM system (MS Dynamics)
Liaise with their Sales Administration team to understand the clerical tasks that underpin their sales operation
Shadow with their wider Operations team to understand the impact of their role in relation to the wider business and vice versa
Train and up-skill partners where necessary to help maximise growth
Keep up to date of the marketplace/industry in which they operate
Remain vigilant for possible fraudulent activity and if necessary, raise a security incident report using the template accessible via the corporate Intranet
Periodically review company Security Policies as required to ensure full compliance with current legal, regulatory and company requirements
Carry out any ‘ad hoc’ assignments as and when required
Compliant with health and safety company policy and legislation
