Retail Senior Lead Volunteer

About us
Our Harrow-on-the-Hill shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Our Sue Ryder Harrow shop is a lovely community shop offering a range of fashion women's, men's, children's wear, bric-a-brac as well as a range of new goods such as bedding, garden, household items, cards, sweets and seasonal gifts.

About you
Support the shop management team with the day-to-day running of the shop. When trained and confident, you can take on the responsibility of covering the shop in the absence of any paid staff that may be attending meetings, are unwell or are on annual leave. Training period can vary.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
