We are currently looking for Team Members in our Derby site to support the effective running of the Burnaston Crossdock operation, carrying out a multitude of tasks which include checking inbound / outbound freight and use of MHE loading / unloading operating a forklift truck.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday Rotating shift 05:30 - 14:30 and 15:00 - 00:00
Salary: £28,912 Based on rotating early / late shifts (Overtime @ 1.5 after 45 hours) plus £1,800 Contract supplement.

Job Description:

• Operating a forklift truck unloading and loading product to ensure the flow of parts through the warehouse ensuring parts are loaded, unloaded in the right place and right time according to schedules.
• Inbound / outbound freight checks.
• Preparing relevant transport / customs documentation
• Participating in general warehouse duties where manual handling would be involved in the process.
• As directed in accordance with training, appropriately use material handling equipment to support operational processes in various areas of TMUK site.
• Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to all times, raising any non-compliances or concerns at the earliest opportunity.
• Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
• Ensure that all company policies, procedures and processes are adhered to, including absence reporting, dignity at work and local site rules, taking due consideration of company values.

Qualifications/Experience:

• Good level of general education including good understanding of both written and verbal English.
• Literate and numerate.
• Automotive, Crossdock, warehouse industry experience desirable.
• Experience of operating MHE in fast paced environment is advantageous
• Ability to withstand pressure and work to tight deadlines with excellent attention to detail.
