Medstrom are a service provider of beds and surfaces into NHS facilities up and down the UK. Through an increase in business we now seek an Internal Technical Trainer to join our existing team, based in Harlow to provide training and development to our wider teams.

Role Description:

Responsible for the creation of content, delivery and recording of technical and non-technical training to new and existing employees within Harlow and the Southern service regions, ensuring consistent delivery of all content to uphold standards within the business and all members of the service teams are continually motivated to achieve and develop technical expertise.

Main duties will include:

Creation of controlled training course material to ensure consistent standard of delivery
Travel to regional locations and local facility for delivery of technical training material to new and existing employees (may involve overnight stays)
Delivery of non-technical (use of product) and process training (internal systems, Warranty etc, demonstrating a thorough understanding of Medstrom processes and the reasons for their existence
Objectively evaluate candidates on skills / knowledge / behaviours demonstrated.
Manage and maintain technical training calendar
Promote learning through SharePoint and the internal LMS system
Comprehensive recording of training provided
Updating of LMS with new or revised content
Management of mandatory course attendance
Provide expert advice, guidance and support to trainees
Ensuring product availability for courses to commence
Review of new products for training
Technical investigation support when required

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Excellent presentation skills with knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and data analysis
Understanding of and/ or experience of LMS systems
Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and motivating teams/ individuals to achieve agreed outcomes and invest in their learning opportunities
Basic teaching qualification (AET)or experience in a learning environment teaching a wide range of abilities
Experience of Medstrom owned and distributed products from both a technical and non-technical perspective would be an advantage but not essential

Working hours : 37.5 hours per week
