Amberon is a UK Leading, award winning, national traffic management company. Due to growth and new contract awards we currently have a vacancy for a Regional Business Development Manager based in the Northwest of England.
The BDM position is crucial to Amberon’s success and historically has been a pivotal role to the growth of the organisation. We are therefore seeking an ambitious and experienced Business Development Manager to join our commercial team.
Based in the Northwest of England this is a full-time role (Monday to Friday). Salary is dependent upon experience. Traffic Management experience and knowledge is preferable or experience in related fields, as is a full UK driving licence and customer service focus.
Role Responsibility:
· Develop existing customers via innovative use of Amberon techniques, equipment and core values
· Identify growth opportunities with both existing and prospective customers as well as in new geographical locations.
· Maintain a rolling list of prospects with which you will use to grow the turnover of your target depots.
· Liaise with Depot Managers, Regional Director and Area Manager to identify their concerns, their requirements of you, and their key strengths and skills to ultimately improve service delivery.
· Provide updated Pipeline reports, prospects lists, quote logs and sales headlines and present at regional and sales meetings as required
· Keep abreast of industry awards and planned infrastructure schemes
· Work as part of the company’s sales team
The Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate will have;
· Experience in a similar role
· Some Traffic Management experience and knowledge
· Excellent people and communication skills with a customer service focus
· Self-motivated with strong organisational skills
· Ability to work under pressure
· Full UK driving licence
· IT skills, with the ability to use Excel, Word and Powerpoint
· Ability to work as part of a team on projects but also use initiative

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday - this role will require flexible working hours, travel across the Northwest and some travel further afield within the UK.
