Blue Cross are one of the UK’s leading rehoming organisations for animals. We support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through our rehoming, veterinary and education programs.

What is the role?
We are looking to appoint a registered Veterinary Surgeon on a fixed term basis to join our team to work remotely to carry out video and voice calls from home.

You’ll be someone who can build a great rapport with clients during the remote consultations and be able to give clear advice to them and our teams, who are based at the hospitals.

Working on your own initiative we are looking for someone with a caring attitude to animals and owners and, ideally, someone with some small animal experience.

On average you will work 40 hours per week, and you will require sufficient broadband speed to carryout video and voice calls from home.

What is required?
We are looking for someone who is:
• Member of Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Computer literate

It would also be great if you had:
• UK small animal or mixed practice experience
• Experience of carrying out remote consultations and triage
