We are now looking for an Academic Liaison Librarian to join our Carmarthen or Lampeter campus on a full time, permanent basis working 37 hours per week.

- THE ROLE -
You will provide specialist library support for the learning and teaching activities of a specified University curriculum area. You can be based at either Carmarthen or Lampeter according to preference, with a requirement to support both campuses via a blend of remote and on-site working, including home working where appropriate.

- ABOUT YOU -
To be considered as an Academic Liaison Librarian, you will need:
- A degree or equivalent work related experience
- A good standard of digital skills
- Experience in developing information and digital literacy, academic, study and research skills or related areas.
- Knowledge of contemporary digital and information literacy developments or willingness to develop this.
- Experience of planning, delivering and evaluating teaching, and of digital learning design or delivery
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to self-manage

It would also be beneficial if you had:
- Professional qualification in Library and / or Information Studies
- Teaching qualification
- Membership of an appropriate professional body, for example CILIP, HEA
- Marketing qualification
- An understanding of and experience in developing information and digital literacy
- Experience of working in the HE or FE environment
- Experience of working in a library or information service environment to support a range of learners.
- Ability to communicate through the medium of Welsh oral and written.
