About us
Our Rugby shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Easily accessible from the town centre and with several car parks located nearby, your local Sue Ryder charity shop in Rugby is the perfect place to bag a bargain. We have been providing good-quality donated clothing, accessories, household items, books, electrical goods and much more, for over 10 years from our Clifton Road Shop. We are also one of the few places in Rugby who stock an extensive range of affordable high-quality wool. Whether you would like to donate items, search through our pre-loved stock or browse our brand new goods, we have a friendly and helpful team who would love to meet you.

About you
If you’re a keen rummager and like things to be neat and tidy, then our Rugby shop team has a great role for you. We need your help behind the scenes to sort the fantastic donations we receive so they are ready to display and sell!
Whether you’re a lover of high street fashion, vintage clothing, jewellery, books, films or music and vinyl, or just fancy the company of other local friendly volunteers, our shop sort room is the place to be, behind the scenes, you will make a difference and allow us to help the planet.

Please note - we have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.

*You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays too, but we really need fun volunteers during the weekends.
