We are now looking for a Roving Supervisor to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As a Roving Supervisor, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our Lowestoft site, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and in the most cost-effective possible way.

Assisting the Site Manager, you will ensure the site operates in compliance with group policies, contracts, permits and all health and safety and environmental legislative requirements.

Overseeing the staff rosters, you’ll ensure cover is arranged as well as maintaining schedules of work, holidays and sickness.

Additionally, you will:

- Complete paperwork and administrative duties accurately
- Ensure all plant equipment is maintained
- Operate weighbridge systems in accordance with the relevant regulations, permits and policies
- Manage the tipping of customer’s vehicles and loads

About You

To be considered as a Roving Supervisor, you will need:

- Experience of working as a supervisor and/or team leader in a waste and/or logistic and/or transport and/or maintenance operation
- Experience of operating and working with heavy plant equipment
- Experience of working in an environment where safety has been given top priority
- Experience of working in customer focused operation
- Experience in planning and working within a cost budget
- Familiarity with weighbridge operation and systems
- Good communication skills
- Numeracy skills
- IT proficiency
