Our client is recruiting for an IT Support Apprentice to join their team in Winchester, SO23.

The Company
This company provides high quality support predominantly to primary schools across Hampshire. This includes both onsite and remote support.

The Position
Job Title: IT Support Apprentice
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Information Communication Technician
Apprenticeship Duration: 18 months
Location: Winchester, SO23
Working Hours: 37.5 hours a week (One day for study and lessons).
Salary: ££11,000 to £14,000 depending on experience


Role and Responsibilities

This role involves working as part of a small dynamic team supporting primarily Primary level schools with all their computing needs.

The role involves deployment of software and educational programs, repair and maintenance of hardware, subsequent installation of hardware, support for schools both onsite and remote.

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the team to assist with technical issues.
Fixing computers and issues on-site and in our workshop.
Working with team members to meet deadlines.
Using initiative to keep up to date with the latest changes in technology.

IT hardware knowledge is essential
Experience of working with/building computers
