Our client is recruiting for an Apprentice Customer Services Operative to join their team in Dorchester.

The Position
Job Title: Customer Services Operative
Apprenticeship Course: Level 3 Customer Service
Apprenticeship Duration: 12 Months
Location: Dorchester
Working Hours: Monday - Friday 09.00 - 17.00.
One hour for lunch & 2 x(15 Minute tea breaks)
Salary: £12,000 pa


Role and Responsibilities

You’ll be working as a Customer Services Operative, supporting and resolving customer enquiries and complaints across a range of their products. Increasing customer retention and loyalty by providing amazing service whilst maximising opportunities to grow our business.
You will work with experts in a specialised area of their team, joining “gurus” within the department to solve pre-defined tasks on behalf of their customers, colleagues and peers. This is your chance to really make a difference to their customers’ journey. You will be empowered to make smart and effective decisions by placing their customer at the heart of everything you do.

Desired Qualities, Skills and Knowledge:

Must have a strong passion for delivering amazing customer service skills.
Can deal with different types of situations at a fast past and under pressure.
Have good time management and organisational skills.
Must have some previous technical experience.
Strong communication skills (written and spoken).
Providing the right solution first time is a key focus of in all roles to ensure we deliver against our promises
We ask you to be courageous and creative with your ideas to improve the customer journey and their processes that support this.
Oh, and don’t forget they’d love to see you self-develop and improve your skills in the role and the wider business - they’ll support you with that too!
On occasion you may be permitted to work from home, you will need a reliable broadband speed. We ask that it’s at least 10mbps download and similar upload speed. You will also need a suitable home working environment (we’ll provide the computer equipment, but you will need a suitable desk space with no interruptions or distractions).
