We are currently looking for two Warehouse Managers, to join us on a permanent, full-time basis, working a night shift pattern from Monday to Friday between 10pm and 9am.

The Role

As a Warehouse Manager, you will oversee the effective operation of our Erith warehouse, ensure the safe handling of all goods and help customers receive an efficient service.

You will minimise damage to goods by implementing effective handling procedures and providing staff training on the correct use of Manual Handling Equipment.

Providing expert leadership to the Warehouse Team, you will communicate issues with line managers, oversee staff performance, monitor absences and manage disciplinary procedures.

Additionally, you will:

- Support the delivery of our H&S programme
- Continuously manage workplace safety
- Monitor and review H&S processes
- Provide staff with H&S training

About You

To be considered as a Warehouse Manager, you will need:

- A proven operations management background in third-party logistics
- Previous supervisory experience
- The ability to prioritise workload, effectively managing multiple tasks
- The ability to work as part of a team, to deadlines and prioritise
- Excellent leadership skills
- Good attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft packages and email

Ideally, you will have an MHE licence and a full counterbalance forklift truck licence.
