We are now looking for an Assistant Production Merchandiser to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As an Assistant Production Merchandiser, you will support merchandising efforts through a range of supply chain, customer contact and production activities.

Specifically, you will manage pricing and delivery negotiations with our suppliers, help to develop products for customers and manage the approval of fabrics, lab dips, trims and samples.

You will raise purchase orders and follow up and chase any outstanding items, communicating with the sales department and customers on price, delivery and quality and organise import, customs clearance and delivery.

Additionally, you will:

- Source and strengthen relationships with new and existing suppliers
- Input all cost and revenue information rigorously to ensure financial clarity
- Feedback to other departments on product development and sales forecasts

About You

To join us as an Assistant Production Merchandiser, you will need:

- Trend awareness through inspiration shopping and other mediums; a thirst for new sources of trend inspiration
- Knowledge of garment technology with experience of preparing or working with size specs
- The ability to make informed decisions through analysis, risk assessment and problem solving
- Excellent attention to detail with an eye for design layout
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

Experience of purchasing garments from overseas factories would be beneficial to your application.

Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop would be very useful but not essential.
