Visitor Services Manager (West) - St Davids, Pembrokeshire

Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is one of Britain’s most iconic protected areas and the award-winning Oriel y Parc visitor centre and gallery is one of our highest profile visitor facilities. We are seeking a new Visitor Services Manager following a recent internal promotion.

The role is suited to someone who can:
• Lead and develop a diverse team responsible for delivering an exceptional visitor experience.
• Work in partnership with National Museum Wales to deliver a high-profile annual exhibition programme.
• Deliver commercially viable and customer-focussed services that drive visitor numbers and spend.
• Develop, manage, and promote a relevant and inspiring programme of activities and events which interpret the special qualities of Pembrokeshire.

The successful candidate will need:
• Experience of operational management, gained at a senior level in a customer-focussed role within the leisure, hospitality, or cultural sector(s).
• A proven track record of driving customer-focussed strategy and delivering consistent and sustainable performance improvements.
• The ability to successfully manage a team in their day-to-day operations and through the process of strategic change.
• the ability to engage with people in English and Welsh (support to learn Welsh will be provided)

Salary and Benefits

Basic salary of £30,151 to £32,020, minimum 26 days’ holiday rising to 31 days plus public holidays, generous local government pension scheme, training, and career development opportunities.
The position will be based at Oriel y Parc, St Davids.
