Contract: fixed term - 10 months starting February 2023
Hours: Full-Time 35 hours per week
Salary: £29,000 - £32,000 p/a pro rata depending on experience, plus excellent benefits package
Location: London, Farringdon - Hybrid Working (50% in office and 50% home working)

The successful candidate will support a variety of panels and committees, each of which focus on distinct areas within the spectrum of structural engineering, including driving their associated activities. We are The Institution of Structural Engineers, the world's leading professional body for qualifications and standards in structural engineering.

The role of Committee/Panel Administration Executive is instrumental in the management of these panels and committees. The function of support to the panels and committees will require you to be highly organised with strong attention to detail, administrative skills and excellent written English. You will work with committee and panel members who volunteer their time for such functions and would therefore require an engaging candidate who can support them to meet deliverables through an excellent communication style.

To be shortlisted for the Committee/Panel Administration Executive, you must have experience of:

- Providing full secretariat service - preparing agendas, taking minutes, progressing action points
- Writing letters, minutes and reports in a confident manner, ideally gained by being part of a committee or similar
- Management and co-ordination of a series of annual activities
- Administration, desirable if have experience working with not-for-profit organisations previously but not essential
- Working in a professional environment where main stakeholders are volunteer members of the Institution

This is a 10-month maternity cover envisaged to start February 2023.
