We are now looking for a Lead Business Analyst to join us on a permanent, full-time basis.

The Role

As the Lead Business Analyst, you will support the implementation of a range of technology solutions through comprehensive requirements gathering for projects and programmes.

Ensuring that solutions meet our needs and deliver value for money, you will create accurate, comprehensive and detailed requirements and communicate these effectively.

You will work alongside the Software Development Manager and the IT Manager and ensure that projects and programmes undertaken by our Digital and Technology Services team align with organisational needs and strategy. About You

To be considered the Lead Business Analyst, you will need:

- In-depth experience of eliciting, analysing and documenting complex requirements, with the ability to translate user requirements into technical requirements
- Experience of documentation standards, user requirements through user stories and
features and aligning user requests to a product and broader technology roadmap
- Demonstrable skills and experience in understanding, influencing, and implementing system architectures and agreed ways of working, designing and building solutions
- The ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources and relay findings clearly and concisely
- Strong working knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies
- Good working knowledge and understanding of fundamental IT and business principles and regulatory frameworks, such as ITIL and GDPR

Experience with SiteFinity CMS or other .NET CMS systems, Azure DevOps or similar DevOps platforms and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Business Central platforms would all be beneficial to your application.

Experience working at other membership organisations or professional institutions would also be advantageous.

The post holder must be willing and able to undertake a reasonable amount of travel to other IMechE sites which may require occasional overnight stays.
