About us
Our Gorleston-on-Sea shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. Within our charming seasonal seaside shop in Gorleston, there’s always plenty to do, especially during our busy periods.

Please note - we do have a minimum age requirement in our shops of 18. We regret that we cannot proceed with your application if you are not yet 18.

About you
Senior Lead Volunteer: Support the shop management team with the day-to-day running of the shop. When trained and confident, you can take on the responsibility of covering the shop in the absence of any paid staff that may be attending meetings, are unwell or are on annual leave. This role is a development opportunity and for those who would like to do more than the general shop volunteer role. The training period can vary.

You will also be helping us to inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle.

Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.

How much time does the role take up?
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available.
