About the role

The role of a Service Manager, you will manage few services with the responsibility for leading teams to provide support to people with a range of support needs. You will coach and mentor your team to embrace a person-centred approach; to enable the people we support to achieve their full potential, goals and aspirations.

You will lead and quality assure the safe achievement of individual’s planned outcomes in community connection, health and well-being, education and employment ensuring that high standards of person centred support are continuously developed and maintained, working with families, the local community and other providers.

Duties will include:

- Making a difference to the lives of those you support
- Help to use a range of recovery oriented and person-centred planning tools
- Ensure all plans and records relating to the people we support are accurate and up to date
- Support with everyday tasks to maximise the individual’s independence
- Work in a consistent and positive way with local managers and other team members to ensure people get a great service
- Undertake various levels of personal care and manual handling

About you

To be a Service Manager at Certitude, the following are essential:

- Knowledge of Essential Care Standards, Safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
- Experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or mental ill health who required practical and/or emotional assistance and support to develop friendships and relationships
- Experience of developing strong relationships with individuals and families built on trust and respect
- Experience of leading teams to embed person centred working
- Ability to use technology - PC and modern technology equipment
